Module 1: Water - The Journey

October 30 - November 3, 2008

This module consists of an exploration of the origins and history of Feng Shui, the different schools, the development of the most powerful tools and an explanation of the underlying principles that allow Feng Shui to work; with a strong emphasis on "Form School"(one of the 2 original schools of Feng Shui).

You will gain an understanding of the Taoist (daoist) Art of Design and its part in environmental awareness and Solar Architecture. You will unravel the complexities of the yin-yang principle and 5 elements theory and learn how to utilize them in design to enrich life and create the best energetic qualities for health and prosperity.

You will gain a practical knowledge of the most valuable Feng Shui applications for home, business, and personal growth.

This module includes:

  • The history and origins of Feng Shui
  • The dynamics of yin and yang, the Tao, oriental diagnosis, the five elements, and their application; to invigorate your health and prosperity
  • The principles of Feng Shui and their definitions
  • Maximizing Sheng Chi (useful,positive energies) and minimizing Sha Chi (harmful or stagnant energies)
  • Site analysis and the different factors affecting Feng Shui
  • Feng Shui uses in the retail trade, marketting, and commercial settings
  • The effect of colors, shapes, logos, numbers, and artwork
  • How to cultivate auspicious chi and eliminate harmful influences
  • Specific strategies for design, renovation, and surveying
  • Analysis of sites, buildings and individual rooms
  • A deep understanding of Taoist philosophy and how it is used for self-mastery and self healing
  • The universal application of the San Cai (san t'shai) or the "Three Treasures" principle (Heaven, Earth and Humanity)

Food energetics recognizes that much of the nourishment we ingest comes from the energy component of Food.   This leads us to make more informed choices.   When we select food which is filled with Chi, fresh, brightly colored, organically grown and appropriate for the timing and the needs of our physiology we achieve real nourishment and open our awareness to the gifts of the unified consciousness. This form the basis of many traditional healing techniques.
