Mauricio Melchor

Mauricio was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil where he obtained his bachelor's degree in Architecture and Urban Design in 2000.

Growing up around his architect father's office allowed him an early understanding of the tools and skills required to communicate ideas and concepts through drawings, this experience was extremely valuable for his future professional development.

With 16+ years of international practice in a wide variety of projects, Mauricio has acquired a comprehensive background in architectural design and building construction techniques.

Currently living and practicing architecture in the East Bay, Mauricio is excited to share his experience in this class, where students will learn how to measure spaces, draw floor plans to scale and graphically communicate with their clients.
